How Tonight works
Tonight uses mood, time, format, watching mode and your enabled services to generate a short list of watchable picks.
How recommendations work
The engine combines streaming availability, genre fit, runtime, tone, prior saves, skips, watch history, hidden-gem scoring and optional AI reranking.
Premium features
Premium unlocks Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Max, NOW and Shudder, plus deeper discovery modes and advanced refinements.
Missing providers
Open Settings and check your enabled services. Free users only see the six core services; Premium users can enable the premium services too.
Slow recommendations
Boredly checks streaming availability and sometimes AI/semantic caches. If it feels slow, try fewer services or a simpler mood.
Login and subscription help
Use Settings to manage your plan, open Stripe billing, sign out, or confirm your connected login method.
Install app
On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap Install Boredly when the app offers it, or use your browser menu to install.
Notifications
Watch reminders and continue alerts depend on browser notification permission and OneSignal configuration.
